The Veluwe Leadership Retreat
A restorative one-day retreat for managers, combining ethical leadership and decision-making with guided reflection in the Veluwe and a personal leadership action plan.
Step out of the everyday pace and make space to think clearly about the leader you want to be. The Veluwe Leadership Retreat pairs practical morning work on ethical leadership and decision-making with an afternoon of guided reflection on foot in the Veluwe. The day begins with focused learning, pauses for a shared lunch, and closes with a personal leadership action plan and dinner.
The day
- Morning — Ethical leadership in practice: frameworks for integrity, difficult decisions, and values-led culture. Facilitated discussion and applied exercises with your cohort.
- Midday — Shared lunch together in the Veluwe, a natural pause before the afternoon.
- Afternoon — Guided reflection walk through the Veluwe forest: structured prompts on leadership identity, trust, conflict, psychological safety, and what you want to change. No slides, no screens — just space to think on foot.
- Late afternoon — Personal leadership action planning: translating the day's reflections into concrete commitments you can bring back to your team and organisation.
- Evening — Closing dinner together: a relaxed, unhurried end to the day to share insights and leave with renewed energy.

Participants leave with renewed clarity about their leadership identity, a grounded approach to difficult decisions, and a personal action plan for building trust, psychological safety, and values-led culture.
