About the Collective
Rooted in integrity, built on experience and growing for tomorrow
Het Veluwe Collectief was founded on a simple conviction: that the most enduring organisations are led by people of genuine integrity. We exist to help those leaders find their footing — and bring others with them.

Founder & Principal Consultant
Fahad Shakeel holds a PhD in Ethical Leadership from Radboud University — one of the Netherlands' most respected research universities. His doctoral research examined the foundations of integrity in organisational leadership, and it is this academic rigour that underpins everything Het Veluwe Collectief does.
Affiliated with Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences, Fahad bridges the worlds of scholarship and practice — combining evidence-based frameworks with the real-world complexity of organisations navigating change.
At Het Veluwe Collectief, Fahad leads all client engagements personally — ensuring that every organisation receives not just a methodology, but a genuine partnership grounded in honesty, depth, and long-term thinking.

What we stand for
Our values
Integrity
We say what we mean and mean what we say. Every recommendation we make is one we would stand behind publicly — and privately.
Depth
We resist the quick fix. Our work is grounded in research, careful listening, and a genuine understanding of your organisation's context.
Collective strength
Leadership is not a solo endeavour. We help leaders build the conditions in which teams, cultures, and organisations can rise together.
Our name
Why the Veluwe?
The Veluwe is one of the Netherlands' oldest and most resilient natural landscapes — shaped over millennia by patient forces, deep roots, and the quiet persistence of life finding its way through difficult terrain.
We chose it as our name because it reflects how we think about leadership. Not as a performance, but as a practice. Not as a destination, but as a continuous climb — one that is always better made together.
Ready to work together?
Whether you are navigating a leadership transition, building a new culture, or seeking a trusted partner for executive development — we are here.
